    Quote from the article:
My expectation is to win every one. I don’t go in and count the first four, divide it into quarters, and say, ‘Gee, if we can go 3-1 or 2-2.’
Remember when Tice did that or something similar?

If Childress would maybe open up the playbook a little, we would've scored more and be 3-0 right now

Sure, but the real question is do you think Tice remembers that?

If your team sucks you have to find bright spots. So you break it down into sections of games. I think If we started losing a few ugly games Childress would change his tune.

He is a new coach, and he probably has his mind set on doing things one way and when he experiences reality he may end up changing the way he does things in order to benifit the team.

He is a good coach IMO.

I think a "not satisfied" Childress is a different beast than a 'not satisfied' Tice....one is as huggable as a shark, the other is a big ole teddybear.

I see your point - but I think he has a plan and is following through.
I'm sure he will be flexible enough to adjust to reality as far as procedures and policies go.
but you don't change your vision.
    You don't change your philosophy.
Childress is stating his vision and expectation is to win - not predicting them.

I think it was poor Sid Hartman that asked that question.
Actually Sid doesn't ask questions he makes a statement and expects Childress to add to it.
I think Childress was getting sick of him.

    Open it up?
If you are referring to some razzle dazzle or bombs, it just may not be in his playbook.
A coach must stick to his playbook and game plan.
I highly doubt that he was intentionally putting in plays that were meant to go nowhere.
We played a top defense that just happened to play us very tough.
