Childress needs Peterson to become his Randy Moss
Jim Souhan: Childress needs Peterson to become his Randy Moss
An extraordinary player can turn an ordinary offense into something special, and in turn transform a coach's reputation.

The Vikings ran 233 offensive plays in the preseason. One was worthy of YouTube -- Adrian Peterson spinning and sprinting his way to a 43-yard run against the Jets.....

Re: Childress needs Peterson to become his Randy Moss
I drifted off to another thread about EJ, But with Peterson starting to command all the attention, we will get some big plays from our passing game. The Lions have to respect AD, and we will use that to our advantage with a short 3-5 step WCO. Even if the stack it against AP, he is going to get another 100 plus yards. I see some deep balls this week too. Division games are usually close regardless of records, but I think we pull away in the second half. We pound the running game all first half then Peterson can be a decoy in play action, and ZIP... T-Will gets a big TD.
