Exactly... McNabb doesn't have it inside of him to lead a team to a championship. Something inside that guy, be it poise, confidence or the ability to handle the moment.. he just doesn't have IT.

Last year I hoped he would land in Chi-town.. then they traded for even a weaker minded QB.. and it proved itself out.

Go ahead on land McNabb.. it isn't going to push you into a SB.

Cutler and McNabb have to be the two most ego fragile QB's in the league. Talented no doubt.. just weak.

I'd love to keep Favre, but if he goes and we can get McNabb for the low, I'd love to grab him and then draft a young QB to groom. We need to bring in a youngblood to groom for the future cuz we aren't just gonna be able to be bringing in former pro-bowlers every other year. We need to develop a guy who can play in the system for years and build long relationships with his teammates.

McNabb's not done in the NFL, hopefully he's done in Philly and we can pick him up though. I've always liked McNabb (unlike Favre), so I'd love it if he came over.

Only if TJoke and Sage are our other options.

I would not be against this really ...

McNabb should have three or four more solid seasons in him and has never played on a team with this much talent (though he has had some talented teams) on offense.

I would prefer take my chances one more time with Favre since he has a year under his belt and the team would be ultra-motivated.

I definitely would prefer McNabb to T-Jack or Sage though.
    None

    January 27th Update:

Vikes send a No. 2 for McNabb?

Update: On Tuesday afternoon, ESPN's John Clayton made an appearance on ESPNEWS, and indicated that McNabb was the Vikings' No. 1 option if Favre retires. He added that the Vikes might be willing to part with their second round pick (No. 62 overall) in order to land Donovan.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

No way Philly lets him go for a 2nd rounder they are going to want at least a 1st round pick and possible a second pick in the 4th or 5th round and McNabb isn't worth it
What we've got here is failure to communicate.
