Adrian Peterson is a superstar.....
...the beast was unleashed. No way he shares that job now, right?
Wrong.
Vikings second-year coach Brad Childress is sticking with Taylor, who has a good chance to be back on the field on Sunday in Detroit. Fans in Minnesota will not be happy with that decision, but Childress is unimpressed with that detail......
Re: Childress growing into Vikings' job
Childress will be able to see what the other team is trying to do, and will adjust our attack to better defeat whatever they throw at us. He can go from group to group and get realtime information, relaying strategy, involved in all aspects of the game, taking charge and becoming a great HC in this league.

(Sports Network) - There were a lot of questions surrounding the 2007 Minnesota Vikings and, to be blunt, not a lot of hope after detached head coach Brad Childress suffered through a miserable rookie season that featured a stunning lack of public relations acumen and communication skill.....

It would be great to see Peterson get alot of carries in every game.
But it will be even greater when we get into the playoffs and he still has fresh legs.
Childress seen Chet wear down last year.
He wants to avoid that this season.
I think it is a great move sticking with the two back rotation.
Re: Childress growing into Vikings' job - Bounces back from rocky freshman year
Childress came in last year and had to change alot of things, he had to implement his offense, and establish himself as the boss. Now in his second year, the team is his, and display's his attitude. All the new scheme's he brought here are now understood by the players and we will get better every game. Chilly came in grabbed the reins and is making this team a contender.

It's for the better when we would still split the balls between AD and Chester, don't wear them out like last year..
edit: i loved the Childress action with udeze's sack

I'll admit, I didn't like hearing that Udeze got the game ball at first.
But after reading about the reasoning behind it, it was a great boost to Udeze and his fellow teamates and coaches for sure.
I've always thought Chili was a great pick for a head coach of ours.
And on a weekly basis, sometimes daily, I think that choice of picking Chili is even better than ever...
He's going to be one of the all time great Vikings Coaches for sure.
Even though we don't have many of them to start with as it is..... ;D
