After four years as a backup to a Pro Bowl player, Visanthe Shiancoe joined the Vikings and aspired to establish himself as one of the NFL's elite tight ends.....

    Very nice read my friend.
I like this guy Sean Jensen.
    Actually does some reporting sometimes.
    Couple of nuggets.

I still find it very amusing how some people claim that Shank is a dissapointment this year and completely miss the mark that our whole passing attack was a dissapointment this year.

Our OL was (and still is to a point) a mess which caused TE's and RB's to stay in and block instead of being allowed to make plays. etc etc etc.

It's fine. It's fine. I mean, patience is a virtue," said Shiancoe, who signed a five-year, $18 million contract during the offseason. "We know what's going on inside the family. Brad knows, Bev knows. The whole offense knows.

"There are a lot of things you guys don't know, that's going on behind the scenes."
Ahhhhhh to be a fly on the wall in Winter Park meetings sometimes.
Man I would kill for a day inside the walls.

Some very intersting stats to chew on me thinks.
Comeon shit talkers lets see who wants to blame drops on people........

Receiver stats: The Vikings are tied for 10th in the NFL with 23 passes dropped, according to STATS, Inc. But that figure is tempered because they plummet to 26th in drops per catchable pass. According to STATS, Inc., the Vikings have league lows in pass attempts (401) and pass completions (233) and are tied for last with 256 catchable passes. The teams with more drops per catchable passes are Indianapolis, Carolina, Tampa Bay, San Francisco, Chicago and the New York Giants.

A Vikings receiver does not lead the team in drops, according to STATS, Inc. That distinction belongs to running back Chester Taylor, who has five. Peterson and Bobby Wade are tied for second on the team with three, while Robert Ferguson, Sidney Rice, Shiancoe, Troy Williamson and Mewelde Moore each have two.
Not only didn't we throw alot of balls, alot of them were not catchable.
    Last in catchable balls.
    Way to go "Futureboy".
Was that all on TJ or were a good number of those from Holcolm and Bollinger?

The most catchable balls thrown all year came from Wade and Rice ;D

Add to those stats the fact that we have not had a 100yd WR since 2005 and things look more bleak for the team.
