Childress uses fake kick to surprise Panthers in 16-13 win
When the offense wasn't clicking, Brad Childress decided to jumpstart things with some trickery. Instead of going for the field goal, the Vikings elected to let kicker Ryan Longwell roll right with the ball and throw a pass to Richard Owens. It worked as Owens caught the pass and dove into the corner of the endzone to tie the game 13-13. Longwell would go on to kick the game-winning field goal 7:35 into overtime. Childress has the Vikings at 2-0 for the first time since 2003 when they started the season 6-0.

Bah! They were playing the Lions! Of course he had a good game. He'll suck it up next week....we all know Grossman has had some bad BREAKS in the dome.

Yah it sucks they haven't updated his pic to one with a Viking uniform!
