Re: Chester Taylor: HE SAID IT

I have high hopes for him. He definitely fits our west coast scheme, and the education from working behind J. Lewis. If we give this guy an O-Line to run through, our offense is going to be friggun scary...

Umm, how else was he supposed to answer the questions?
    Thining the same thing myself.

He is positive; I would not expect anything less.

When I coach young boys in football I love hearing stuff like this. I never like hearing anything negative.

I am really excited about this. The way I see this is that he is going to try to make his mark on the NFL and his name. In the process, we are going to be a better team. We know he has talent, now we will see it.

He is going to be like caged up animal.. I am sure he will give it everything he has, he has been wanting to be a starter and probably understands that if he falters, someone else will take his place, and he will be back on the sidelines..

If we get Hutch, that 1,600 yards gets even more realistic. I'm lovin this guy, got his head on straight. I really honestly believe that hes gonna be our new "Franchise" back.

Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!

Whats the concensus on Chester being in the game more than 1/3 of the time?
Do you think he will be given the opportunity to be "the guy"?
Or do you think it will be the same ol' RB by comity of old?

He definatly wasn't my first choice for FA RB, but I'm glad we have him and I hope he is given the chance to be our feature back.

Re: Chester Taylor: HE SAID IT

    generic interview.

i think saying 1600 is stupid. not saying he can't do it but the fact that he already has had a number attached to his name and he hasn't rushed for one yard yet. i like how he answered the question. he has his personal goals, they don't have to be public.

it is really tough to gauge how he will play, he was bang on when he said it was like coming out of college. he hasn't been a starter anywhere else and we don't know about his durabililty. we do know what kind of player he is though in a limited role. i hope and am optimistic he can be just as effective getting 300 touches.
