Here's new Vikings running back Chester Taylor …
On what he wants Vikings fans to know about him:
"Just know that I'm going to go out and play hard every game and help the team win. And I'm a winner, and I'll bring to the team a winner's attitude."
On the prospect of rushing for 1,600 yards:
"I'm going to do all I can and run as hard as I can. If I have that many yards, it would be great. I've been waiting for years, and now that I'm getting the opportunity, I'm going to take advantage of it. I believe I can be one of the top backs in the league."
On his running style:
"I can slash in between the tackles. I can go around if I need to. I can catch passes and block, too. I can play in the West Coast offense."
On what appealed to him about playing for the Vikings:
"To me, it's a new beginning and a new start. It's like coming out of college again. I'm looking forward to the new challenge. I know Marcus Robinson and Travis Taylor from Baltimore. Me and Marcus have the same agent. He said it's nice up there, and he said to come up there and be his teammate. I'm looking forward to coming up there."

His attitude is positive. I think he's going to be raising some eyebrows around the league for sure.

Thats great. I would be wonderful to have a back for the Vikes be considered on of the best in the NFL again.

He seems like a hard-working guy. I wasn't too sold on him at first, but I'm eager to see what he can do.

I'm glad he's a Viking. I liked him on the Ravens. Looking forward to see what he can do as a starter.
