Chester will be our third down, and change up runner. The Chiller will also deploy special packages with Chester, or AD, or both being on the field at the same time.

Take care of both and keep moving the team forward toward the SB and honestly try to get it done and they will want to stay. Mess with them and they will go. When I heard coach dumbass at MNF bears game saying we have taylor for this year now only....... and that is what we are dealing with...." I was totally P.O'd when I saw that when I got home and watched the replay cause I was at the game and they didnt show that interview at the game. So the way he said it was he was intent on trading him this year with AP now here. He better not...it sure would be stupid.

    Re: Chester Taylor

How cool would it be to have two thousand yard running backs
We were close last year without a passing game, if we get a half ways decent passing game to keep defenses from putting 8-9 in the box, then we could very well see that happen.

    Thanks Josdin00 for the sig!

I would consider trading him. I have a feeling he wants to start and if you are going to lose him you may as well get something out of him.
If you promise to be smarter, I will promise to be nicer.

My posts are worth 6 of yours.

I really hope CT stays with us his entire contract.
But if he insists a trade I would not be surprised.
These players want more than money they want to play. They spend their entire life working to get in the NFL and when they lose their job it does hurt their pride a little..... I respect CT and even Chilly said he handled it professionally.
If AD gets a 2 to 1 ratio it would be cool with me.
Chester will get his playing time and both could win a Superbowl title as long as TJack works out.
So if Taylor honors his contract and has sucess he could get a deal that Tomlinson's backup recieved in Atlanta.
Either way I hope he's convinced to stay!

I don't know if thats true anymore.
The two headed monster were putting on the field takes advantage of both chester and AD.
I think that he is probably happy with the playing time hes getting.

Although I guess both of our opinions are both purely speculative.
Only Chester knows whats really up.
I also think he is starting to realize that it is advantageous for him to split the load at RB.
His career should last longer and therefore ensure income for a longer period of time.
He still gets paid well and plays for a good team.
That's all he could really ask for.
If somebody wanted to lure him away with a fat contract, that is up to him, but I think he'd be foolish to leave a team on the rise w/ a great Oline.
    Excellent post JK.
Then throw on top of all that logic the fact that most teams now or will shortly all run a two back system.

Why not stay were he is wanted?
    ;D

    I love the 1-2 punch!
Totally hoping CT stays for the long haul.
Good point on the extending Both of their careers!!
And, barring a season killing rash of injuries, I expect some winning in the near future for our Vikes!!
Which, I can only imagine, would help CT feel like sticking around.
