    Chester Taylor

Im thinking what we are going to do next yr when i think Chester Taylors contract runs out. He came here to be the #1 guy but AD took that so he probably will leave wanting that, so who will be the #2 to our to headed monster.

Hopefully we dont lose him but we will lose alot if he does and AD will run down quicker through the yr.

Ends after the '09 season yea, this will be his 3rd year with us.
It really depends on how he does with us though, I could see him potentially wanting to go elsewhere, but he will still get plenty of touches with this team, and i think as of now he's happy with his position.
AD may take the spotlight, but CT still gets plenty of respect from the team, fans, and everyone else everytime he gets the ball.

I don't know if thats true anymore.
The two headed monster were putting on the field takes advantage of both chester and AD.
I think that he is probably happy with the playing time hes getting.

Although I guess both of our opinions are both purely speculative.
Only Chester knows whats really up.

My guess is we'll see how happy he is with his role as this year pans out.

NONE of us know whether he's okay sharing the load or not; we just would be speculating.
Some people do not want the added pressure of being "the man" and are happy to do what is expected of them and to keep those expectations from being too high....

He may think he's a feature back and ask to go somewhere else where that can be his role.

With the way teams are developing the two back systems it will be hard for Chester to find somewhere to be the full time starter.

I also think he is starting to realize that it is advantageous for him to split the load at RB.
His career should last longer and therefore ensure income for a longer period of time.
He still gets paid well and plays for a good team.
That's all he could really ask for.
If somebody wanted to lure him away with a fat contract, that is up to him, but I think he'd be foolish to leave a team on the rise w/ a great Oline.

Very well said - there are some major perks to his current situation; the only negative is ego-related....
