Thread: Chester Out of Shape

According to reports, Chester Taylor showed up to Minnesota's minicamp out of shape. He was signed to be the team's featured back in the offseason. (6/5/2006)

I am the biggest chester fan on this site and i am suprised but i dont think this is a problem. He will get into shape but if he wants to be a starter he has to be ready to run hard.

its june, if hes not in shape, its the nfl, im pretty sure he will get whipped into shape plenty quick im not that worried, aslong as he knows the offense and is readay to rock, hes gonna be the man, he finally has his time to shine

He better get into shape quick. I would have no problem seeing Mewelde take his carries if Chester isn't in top shape. That's what he is getting paid for. I'm sure he will get things together though.

I'm sure he is not that far off from being in great shape.. Being out of shape for a football player, compared to being out of shape to a normal person (like you and I) is very different.. I'm sure he will be ready to go when the season starts..

I"m out of shape, and looking at about 2010 before I'm in good shape again....LOL

I'm not worried about taylor at all.......
