Vikings release running back Chapman

The Vikings released running back Doug Chapman on Tuesday.
Chapman began training camp as the No. 1 tailback in the absence of the injured Michael Bennett.
However, Chapman was plagued by injuries this season and didn't play for the past month.
To take Chapman's place on the roster, the Vikings claimed Richard Angulo on waivers from St. Louis.
He had been cut from St. Louis Monday. Angulo was drafted in the seventh round this year out of Western New Mexico.
Angulo is a 6'7 260LBS TE..
