Re: Chances we win out or lose one more game?

Wait for it, wait for it 4-1!
I bet none of you expected that. Here is why.

Bears, W - We should have beat these guys in Chicago. Now it is our turn. In our I mean the crowd. We will be loud.

Lions, W - Their is no way we should lose this one.

Cardinals, L - Way to solid of a team. 4-1 at home. Yikes! Plus I will be there.
    :P

Falcons, W - They are not the same team on the road.

Giants, W - They will have home field by then.

Re: Chances we win out or lose one more game?

4-1 is nice to think about, but I think 3-2 is more likely.
There have been a lot of games we "should" have won this year.

Chicago will be tough, it depends which team shows up.
Lions - we should have blown them out in our own home, but we only won by 2 points.
Cards - we have a chance here.
    (bring on the neighsayers)
If we can stop their run game, they become one dimensional and we have a chance.
Of course, one dimenstional with Warner, Fitz and Boldin is not a bad place to be for them.
    But still... any given Sunday.
Now, once I take my purple glasses off, I don't think we win this one.
Atlanta will also be tough, but their strength is the running game making it easier for Matt Ryan.
I think a stuff in the run game and Jared Allen brething down Ryan's neck will be enough to fluster the kid and secure our victory
Giants - They didn't sit anyone last year, and I don't think they will again.
I beleive I remeber Coughlin saying that he wanted the continuity, not so much to try to take down New England.
I think they play and they win.

So 3-2 with losses to Arizona and NY

    EDIT: [s]3-4[/s]
    3-2

I think we'll win against Atlanta cause the Williams Wall will stop Turner from getting 80+ yards and they have a rookie QB, so I think our D-line will put a lot of pressure on him.
    3-4 , ???
    ???
    :
    LOL! My bad
    :

    PS:
I noticed that I was not the only one messing up the numbers. Look at the poll! One of the options is "1-5" but we have only 5 games left.
Just seeing if you were paying attention.

I'm surprised how many people are concerned with the Cards.
I think they are benefitting from a horrible division an we will expose them.
Hightower won't do anything against us meaning they have to try to beat us with their passing game, which is elite.
However, with almost no threat of a running game and Warner's past of turning the ball over under pressure, I'm not too worried about it.
Their defense is not as good as their stats make them out to be either.
We should be able to run the ball and control the clock, keeping their offense on the sidelines.
I'm thinking like a 30-24 score or something close to that.

chicago) win - vikes will be up for the chance to be outright lead in the north, also being on SNF
detroit) win - this game scares me but lets just hope they arent the first to lose to the kittens
arizona) loss - kurt warner will carve us up (prediction=375 yards passing)
atlanta) win - vikings bounce back against the rookie qb while bottling up michael turner
new york) win - giants will be resting their starters and for some reason they dont, vikes will still win because they historically own eli manning

final record - 10-6 (3rd or 4th seed depending on tie breakers)

After the embarrassment we put the Giants through last year there is no way they lay down for us this year. They didn't rest their starters in the final game last year and he won't do it this year either.

i agree with all them but the bears. we barely beat them without their starting cornerbacks. and with their starters back. i see gus throwing the game away

last year they had the chance to ruin a perfect season. so i would also not rest my starters to ruin a possible chance to ruin a perfect season

Re: Chances we win out or lose one more game?

Chicago - W - We lost to them in a close one, but that was in their house, and if we can eliminate the miscues we'll be fine.

Detroit - W - A loss here would be pathetic and I'm too much of an optimistic to envision a loss here. It could happen, but it won't.

Arizona - W - We have more to play for with their division totally wrapped up. The roll of 3 straight wins will have our confidence beaming.

Atlanta - L - Their offense terrifies me. I don't think we'd be able to keep up with it. Very tough game.

Giants - W - We simply will have more to play for as the division will be on the line. Stopping their run will be the key.

4-1 - I put a lot of money on playing with emotion and seeing a fired up team. Chilly is not always capable of doing that so we'll see. It will be interesting to see how Chilly does as the pressure mounts. He didn't fare too well last time.
