    Re: Chad Greenway healthy, hungry

I like Greenway and was touting him before last years draft, but he was eligible for the rookie mini-camp the Vikes had last week but he didn't attend.

I was a little disappointed given that he can use all the time on the field and practicing he can get coming off the injury.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Are you sure he were eligible?

Where is that info, or could you give me the lay down on what a vested year is?

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

I am looking forward to what he can do on the field.
He has good talents and I think he could be as good as a Brian Uhrlacker. Of course, it's way too early to assume anything like that but he has the attitude and talent it takes to make it in the NFL.

Childress said he was eligible in the Rosen interview and that he wanted Greenway to be there.
No matter Chad will be flying around the field soon enough.

I'm pretty sure Greenway wasn't eligible. Childress said he WANTED Chad there but he couldn't attend because he's already had a vested year. If Childress didn't say Chad was ineligible then I'm pretty sure one of the reporters for the Star Tribune or Pioneer Press did some research and posted it on one of the blogs they have floating about on the paper's sites.

He didn't play during the regular season last year so he didn't have a vested year and that made him eligible for the rookie camp but didn't participate.

Man I am so exicted about greeway and peterson playing this year. It feel like we had two number 1 picks. I think that greeway is gonna be very good.

In a sense it will be like having 2 first round 7th overal picks this year.
I love the fact he's coming back.
Just adds more skill on the Defensive side of the ball.
I truly feel like this year the vikes will have some growing pains but within the next few they will be right in the hunt again after some maturity and experience has set in for so many of our young guys.
