Feel so bad for the guy
Both knees in a short period of time
I hope he can overcome this one too and get back.. He was playing good in his short ammount of time this year
He will be missed big time this year

Re: Cedric Griffin Out For Year
This really sucks, both for Cedric and for the Vikings. With Cook likely to miss another week at least, this was the worst possible time for it to happen.
Romo certainly will continue to work on Asher Allen, after seeing the trend last night. Our safeties had better step it up to help out him and Sheppard.
We know Ced will work hard to get back from this again, but I feel really bad for him. Knowing how much he is needed, I'm sure he feels terrible right now.

When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Re: Cedric Griffin Out For Year
He looked good too ... what a shitty shitty thing to happen.
I am shocked that in back-to-back games Cook and Griffin did the exact same thing to their once healthy knee as they had done in their first injury.
Maybe bringing Favre in last season was selling our soul to the Devil ... and now we are paying for it

Re: Cedric Griffin Out For Year
I hope him coming back so soon didn't play a part in it. ACL tears isn't something you typically bounce back fast from. Especially concerning re-strengthening the leg. Yes I know it is the opposite knee but players have a tendency to overcompensate and put more strain on the good leg.

Re: Cedric Griffin Out For Year
I thought he looked close to tears when they stood him up - not from pain, but from frustration. The guy busted ass to get healthy, and he's back down. What a crappy break.

Re: Cedric Griffin Out For Year
This was the worst possible news for me coming from that game. Cedric is one of my favorite players and worked so hard to come back from that injury. The good thing is that we all know he will bust his ASS to be back on that field next season. He's a very motivated guy and already knows what he has to go through in rehab.
It's an awful situation, but I hope to see him back to his old form in training camp next year.
