hey, remember when everyone wanted to trade for derek anderson cuz he was so awesome?
now after half a season and a completion percentage under 50 everyone thinks he stinks again.
i wouldnt mind cassel, but unless belicheck is coming with him he might be a bit risky.
alot you guys remind me of the people who vote for president just by the 30 second commercials they see on tv.

Fav-re is a three–time league MVP- the only one in NFL history.
He lead the Packers to seven division championships, four NFC Championship Games, two NFC Championships and one Super Bowl championship.
He also holds every QB record under the sun (including the bad ones).

Re: Cassel or Quinn could be Vikings' next QB
2 sides of the argument
1)
Are you kidding me?
Kurt Warner is should be going to the hall of fame now...but if he wins another MVP, i consider him a lock.
Sure he may not have been this dominating throughout his whole career, but I mean the guy has won 2 MVPs and a superbowl and in my opinion is this year's MVP with exception to AD of course
How can you deny a man who very well may win 3 MVPs?
I wont consider him 1st ballot either, but a 2 or possibly 3x MVP with a superbowl ring is enough to fill up a hall of fame resume in my book.
2)
Ok when Warner won MVP, was he truly the MVP or was he the product of a great weapons on offense.
St. Louis- Torry Holt, Issac Bruce, Kevin Curtis, Marshall Faulk...the list goes on.
I mean they werent called the Greatest show on turf for nothin.
Arizona- Fitz, Boldin, Breaston, Tim Hightower (i think this guy could be a stud), Edge (declining).
Seriously there is some firepower in the receiver department in particular.
And look at the divisions they play in...
99' Carolina (8-8)
Falcons (5-11) Niners (4-12) Saints (3-13)
01' Carolina (1-15) Falcons (7-9) Niners (12-4)
Saints (7-9)
a little better but still niners were relying on Garcia who put together a decent stretch but they werent doing anything that year
08' eveyone else is currently (2-7)... nuff said
My opinion- put him in (not first ballot) if he wins MVP this year and take the Cardinals past the 1st round of the playoffs.
Or just a superbowl without MVP.

No way Favre makes it on any list of QB's if you're just going by the past 10 years.
Favre continues to live off of his past success. He currently leads the league in Interceptions... something's he's grown accustomed to over the past decade.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

There is not a quota as to how many QBs make it in a certain amount of time.
The real question here is does Warner deserve to make the HOF?
That is a yes or no question.
Not a name someone else question.
He had 3 good seasons with the Rams from 99 -01.
Then he had 2 shit seasons with the Rams from 02 - 03.
Then he went to the Giants and sucked it up there to where he lost his starting job in the middle of the season.
He had an okay season in 2005.
Shit in 2006.
Okay in 2007 and good in 2008.
Talk about consistency.
It's just not there.
I'm not saying he isn't a good QB.
He is.
But he's been very inconsistent throughout his career.
Favre and Brady can say they've had winning seasons their entire career.
Can Warner say that?
That would be a big NO.
Not sure what you are getting at to say what I said was laughable.
IMO what you said about him being a 1st ballot HOFer is laughable in my view.
He does stand the chance to make it but he is not a sure fire bet to make it.
