Moorhead Menards grand opening set

Grand opening for the new Moorhead Menards store, 3000 27th Ave. S., is Oct. 20-28.

The megastore grand opening will include appearances by NASCAR race car and truck drivers Paul Menard and Matt Crafton Oct. 23, former Minnesota Twins outfielder Tony Oliva Oct. 24 and former Minnesota Vikings defensive end Carl Eller Oct. 25. All will be at the store from 6 to 8 p.m.

Chainsaw carver and artist John Gage will hold shows from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20-23.

Menard’s #15 NASCAR racing simulator will offer free rides from noon to 8 p.m., Oct. 22 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 23.

Very cool that he is going to be in my neck of the woods.
I'll have to dig out some old Carl Eller cards to see if he is signing autographs...
