Can Tarvaris Jackson take this team to the next level?

With the defense being of superbowl caliber, is the offense gonna hold us back?
Personally i think all the pieces are in place for a superbowl run exept the quarterback.
I have seen no signs that Tarvaris has the decision making skills it takes to beat the better teams in the league.
We will beat most of the bad to average teams in spite of our quarterback, but when the team needs him in clutch situations.....bad news.
I put a sig on here before, but it expired?
Now i have tried again but seem to be retarded.......oh well,

    Floop the bears!

I think TJ has the skills and ability to take us to the big show.
After the Denver game I think he established that when neccesary he can move this team and get the poiints needed.
How different that game would have been if Troy Williamson had caught those two passes.

No, he will not take them there, but if he improves he can be a part of the process.

We still have a long way to go to dethrone the Rivals to our East in Green

Short answer: Yes, if the coaches do their job and don't put winning the game on his shoulders.
Have it balanced between TJ, the D, and AD & CT.

    1. TJ needs to improve accuracy, moving the sticks, and give AD more reps to break the big runs.

    2. D needs to be stingy on field position.
The need to be known as the "3 and out ers".
Turnovers, INTs, and points are luxury, but 3 and outs are my favorite.

    3. AD and CT needs to take the pressure off TJ, with lots of "2nd and shorts" and enough 20+ runs.
Both will slow the pass rushes.

Both will slow the pass rushes.

IMO the only thing that will slow the pass rush is going to be the QB and WR showing the league that they can make you pay if you put too many bodies close to the line. Teams already knew we could run the ball, what we could not do is pass when we needed to.

The line must give the QB time to make reads, wr's time to run routes and then the QB and WR must make the plays

    Ahhhhhhh, TOUCHE' my good man!
I'd really like to see Chilly get a consistent game plan put together designed to help T Jack and AP succeed.
I saw it a couple times last year and that was it.
I have to believe the O-line will play better this year with another season together under their belts.
If we utilize the screen like our hated rivals and quick slants the 8 and 9 man fronts should be a thing of yesteryear!
Things look very, very good to me right now!
