K-Rud can't become our "Gronk" if Frasier continues to only start him in half the games & continues to use him as little as they have. IMO, he's got arguably the best set of hands on our receiving corp, but they kept him on the bench way too much.

That was last year...his rookie year. It will change big time in 2012. I still think this kid has a chance to be one of our best Tight Ends ever. I expect a big year from K-Rudd (I like that one).

Well seems like the team needs a big time player like him.

Well, his talent level may be there - and I certainly hope that it is - but he has a few distinct disadvantages too.

1: Leslie Frazier is his HC.... Gronk has Bellicheck.
2: Bill Musgrave is his OC.... Gronk has josh McDaniels.
3: Christian Ponder is his QB.... Gronk has Tom Brady.
4: The only other viable receiver threat is Percy Harvin....Gronk has Wes Welker, Deion Branch, Matthew Slater, Julian Edelman, Donte' Stallworth, Brandon Lloyd and Jabar Gaffney.

That's quite a bit to overcome...
