Re: Can Fox start?
Chavous wasn't in the Pro Bowl two seasons ago for nothing, the guy can play.
And, at the same time, if a player under contract is going to be talking about more money, now is the best time to be doing so. I think everything will work out come camp.
We need depth. I would be very disappointed if we end up starting a 2nd string talent at DB next season.Even babies know the difference.

Re: Can Fox start?
I think that Brian Williams would be a good fit a SS - but what do I know...I thought Chis Hovan would've been a good fit at DE.

Re: Can Fox start?
I hope he doesnt start at SS, cuz rookies need to be broken in for a year......he'd make a great nickel back. The he could make a smooth transition....

Re: Can Fox start?
If Chavous gets cut.. then I say restructure B. Williams contract and start him as SS. He complained about loosing his starting role to Smoot.. so by doing this he will get a different pay check and will start at SS and everyone will be happy. Well.. except Chavous.

Re: Can Fox start?
If Fox can come in and WOW everyone i wouldnt be upset.. with that being said I think there is no chance in hell happening.. Offord has a better shot at the job.. But if C.C wants over 2 mill screw him.. he should be traded or get cut..

"Can Fox start?"
If he proves he's the best man for the job, by all means, start him.

Re: Can Fox start?
Corey Chavous could not cover a tight end or tackle a running back if his life depended on it. The student of the game thing DOES work: Corey is always in a POSITION to make a play, that doesn't mean he DOES IT though. I'd like to see B-Will covering TE's and lighting up running backs, personally.

Re: Can Fox start?
If we shouldn,t be starting 5th round talent, pull Birk out of there,he was drafted in the 6th!!
If winning isn,t everything, why keep score?
