Call me crazy, but I think Travis Taylor may have a ......
.....breakout season with us.
Consider the facts:
He's got the speed to stretch the field.
He'd never had a good QB.
He'll be playing in a pass-friendly system, with arguably the most accurate passer in the game.
Even before Moss, Minnesota has been known for churning out quality WR's:
Look at Cris Carter, Anthony Carter, Jake Reed.
If we don't get Boldin or draft Williams or Edwards he's going to get a lot of balls thrown his way. Even if we do get one of those guys he'll still get good PT. I could see him catching 60-70 passes for over 1000 yards and double digit TD's.

You're not crazy at all. Obviously if you were a 1st round pick and you're in the NFL still after a few years without being cut, you've got talent... There's a few exceptions to that though.
He's never had a great quarterback throwing him the ball like DC. If we don't draft a WR, then he'll probably be our #2 or #3 option. I could see him having a break-out year also.

Travis will do much better with our Offense. I tend not to judge him by the Offense he came from. If he dropped a few balls, probably because he was surprised that they even got it close to him.

culpepper IS the most accurate passer in the game, he is the best. 80% of mannings touchdowns were 10 yards or less don't forget that is nothing special. and mcnabb throws lots of short passes too.

all of mannings TD's were becuse he has and awsome recieveing core and all of his recievers were wide open...
