are the vikes going to get a stadium deal done by the time the lease is up? only god knows, but 1 thing i feel strongly about is that if that deal isnt done, Zygi is moving from Minny and taking the Vikings with him.

I find it ironic that California is nearly bankrupt, handing out IOU's to its employees, yet they are looking for a team for a new stadium...and the Vikings have a fan base in a market they've been in for almost 50 years and can't get a stadium deal done. Amazing.

I figured the Jags would be a better decision with their 10 blackouts this year. I thought Favre was making more money for us this year.

The LA proposal is funded totally privately. The days of public financed stadiums are over.

I've been worried about this for a while, too. I think the one thing going our way is the fact that we've sold out every game for the last decade or so, whereas St. Louis and Jacksonville have local TV blackouts many times a year (I think the Jags have every game blacked out this year so far, lol). Hopefully a good, deep playoff run will change the minds of the Minnesota Legislature and we can get this thing straightened out sooner rather than later.
