    C-Pep to be traded ?

I heard this from some sources but I highly doubt this.

Wilf came out 2 days ago and said that C-Pep would be with the Vikes next year!

Re: C-Pep to be traded ?

Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf said this week that he's going to be paying Daunte Culpepper's $6 million roster bonus this offseason, meaning we can kill all that speculation about Culpepper being let go. That is a good move because putting all of your chips on Brad Johnson to be the team's long-term starter would be ludicrous.

Regardless of what Johnson has done during Minnesota's six-game winning streak, he turns 38 at the start of next season. And no matter what you want to say about Culpepper's horrible performance and injury this season, you don't just throw away a young quarterback who is 12 months removed from one of the greatest statistical seasons by a QB in NFL history

Culpepper isn't neccessarily young. He is in his prime and should be playing with more poise. Granted you don't throw him away but if we can trade Moss we can trade anybody. He is 28 or 29 that is not young any more. If he can't read defenses any better and still takes some stupid risks then he will be an average QB the rest of his career.

I would agree with this for certain positions in the NFL, ie running back, but not for the QB position C-pep, if makes a full recovery, could come back and play for another 6 years easy. Most quality QB's remain in the league for quite awhile

Wiggles that is about right. you figure three prime years and three years holding on like most QBs who don't know when to reitre.
