So who will be the one the step into Moss' shoes?
Please, Burleson is insanely more polished than Williamson at this point. I believe he caught more passes in his final year in college than Williamson did in his entire career in college.
NOBODY will ever step into Moss' shoes, but in the end they should both be threats, especially after the catch.
It has to be Troy Williamson since he is more of a speed guy. Burleson is more like Chris Carter with quickness. He is a possession guy that can jook his way to the end zone.
If you're asking which will put up the numbers that Moss took with him, neither will do that. The duty that Moss left behind will be taken care of by TW.
Williamson will.No knock on nate but he doesn,t have the speed.Troy is gonna do what Moss did the first 2 years, just burn down the sidelines.
Our WR situation right now almost reminds me of our 98 WR corp.
Burleson is a lesser version of Chris Carter
Williamson is a lesser version of Moss as far as stretching the field.
Initially, Williamson might be the 3rd WR, then move up to 2 like Moss did.
I think by the end of the year it will look like this:
#1 Nate
#2 Troy
#3 Travis
Nice and young with a variety of assets.
At first we will have the "sons"
Burleson
Williamson
Robinson
No one will be another Moss. This is why I had reservations with the Vikings taking a WR with that pick. WE WILL NEVER HAVE ANOTHER RANDY MOSS. I hope some vikings fans will realize that, TW and Burly will have their own identity. I think it was tice who said TW is a faster Nate Burleson, so if there is any comparisons it should be that way.
We also have a new coordinator, next years team will be much different than last
thats also what i see it as.

Dude I would never say he is the "next Randy". I was just comparing their speed and ability to spread the field.Quote:
