We just got rid of one problem-child in D. Smith, and now another one emerges.
I understand he had a tough year w/ the loss of Sean Taylor and the up and down season, but at his age (and previous troubles) Big Mac should know better.
Hate to say it, but the past couple of years I have secretly hoped we would find a replacement for BMac that was better at pass protection and more nimble of foot.
There are some decent options in the draft that might fall to us.
I'm feeling a draft day trade if that happens.
    BMac for Fitzgerald?
can you say flozell adams? lmao
i dont think Bryant is gonna get in big trouble with the team, he is not a repeat offender like dwight was, he should be fine.
Maybe not a repeat offender under Childress, but there was the public sex at the boat party and the gas station incident when Tice was the coach.
    Maybe he needs alcohol counseling.
He is drinking in his MySpace photo.
Seriously, as a professional athlete is that the picture you want up as your default?

    That's disappointing to hear about.

Man, I must be getting old. Who stays out partying til 6:30 in the morning? It sounds like you might be looking for trouble if you're doing that.

That is a good point - for the most part McKinnie has kept himself out of trouble.
Plus, Smith was pretty good at getting in trouble during the season... which was a bigger problem to the team because it affected them during their games.

It is possible that McKinnie could get some kind of suspension out of this, but we will ave to wait until more of the facts come up.
From what it sounds like, McKinnie returned to a bar where he was kicked out of earlier in the night, and that makes him the aggressor...

Does this mean we will suspend him from his blog too?

    Look, people get into fights.
It's something to be avoided of course, but sometimes there is no way out.
According to reports however, this wasn't the case. McKinnie chose to return and continue to press the situation. He deserves whatever punishment he gets.

Is this the type of distraction we want for our favorite team?
If the story proves to be accurate, I would fully support a deal to get McKinnie out of Minnesota.

LOL! That gas station incident wasn't much of an incident. Those charges were dropped against Memo & McKinnie. They were in a gas station minding their own business when the woman came up to them & started the whole incident.

Several people came forward & attested to that. Thusly, all charges against them were immediately dropped.

OK, I just remembered something happened w/ him at a gas station a while back but could not remember all the details.
Either way, he should not be out messing around all night, especially after what happened to his former teammate and friend.

It's a tough call for me.
I wouldn't support trying to deal him out, but I would support a suspension.

Our OL is finally performing to the point that we want it to.
It took two full years for Hutch and Mckinnie to get to the point where they can anticipate each other's moves.
Destroying that chemistry because of an isolated incident is a bit harsh IMHO.
