I have no problem with the trade, because I have posted in another trade that I feel that a blind monkey with no arms would be a better quaterback then McMahon or O'Sullivan so no I do not have any problem with the trade

To me there is one big difference between McMahon & Bollinger, and that is this completion percentages
    McMahon under 50%
    Bollinger over 50 %
Why is this important? Simple McMahon played in the WCO where it is easier to get a higher completion percentage then the offence that they were using in New York, so if Bollinger can get over 50% with the Jets offense then he will do fine with the WCO here in Minnesota.
Oh yea he did break even on the td and the ints but I can not remember the stats for McMahon but pretty confident to say that his TD to int ration was more int to TD's.

I don't like that we gave up a pick and I think he is in the last year of his contract but he is better then the other two that need not be mentioned so I'll say good trade.
Minnesota Vikings : Simply the best

I saw on the ticker it was CJ and an undisclosed draft pick.
I hate to see CJ leave.
I think he had a lot of potential.
    He did well last year.
However, I think we needed a better backup than what we have with McMahon and JT.
I'm more comfortable with BJ TJ and BB.

I will agree with the general consensus of the posts.
Brooks should be a serviceable backup.
Certainly better than the 2 currently on the way out.
TJ has shown well in preseason but he should not be pressured to perform especially if needed to early in the season.
If the season proves to be mediocre, then he should get some late season late game playing time to build over the next year or two.
Besides, the money BB gets will be for a backup slot, which sholuld be considerably less than Brad Johnsons

So a late round pick and low salary is a safe bet.
Now lets just hope he doesn't need to play.

Not a bad trade IMO, To bad we had to give up a draft pick too but im sure its a 7th rounder(better not be any higher than 6th). Bollinger is a definete upgrade over McMahon and O'Sullivan for sure. I do feel a
little bit better about our backup QBs now and thats always good.
