Whoa...
That guy graduated the same year i did at my hometown's other high school. We hadquite a few mutual friends. I kinda followed his career w/ the Jets (hometown pride and all). Mosley will be missed, but it's cool having another Nodak boy on the team!

Re: Brooks Bollinger joins the Vikes (Merged Threads)
You cant really say Bollinger plays like a 4th string QB, since he had played most of last year as the backup to pennington.
He is a second string and at worse 3rd, the Jets have2 good QBs and a rookie... Of course he was expandable and that is good for us...Hopefully he doesnt have to play a down for us, but I like the insurance policy...How much to we pay for our insurance, alot...So it cost the viking more then we wanted, it will all work out in the end...What we got here is a failure to communicate.

Hey he'll be fine, if memory serves me right.Great, a 'Skani.
Oh well, hopefully he can manage a clipboard and here is to hoping he isn't needed
Childress thought he was a good talent when he was an assistant.
He isn't a superstar, but a good quality back up, with the right teaching he could be another Brad Johnson, much better then McMahon or O sullivan

As the lone Mosely hater on the board let me be the first to say good riddance.
As Fuad pointed out, he is basically wasting a roster spot.
Bollinger can't be any worse than McMahon.
Great move.

Re: Brooks Bollinger joins the Vikes (Merged Threads)
I think that a few years down the road we will regret trading away Mosley but it didn't look like he was going to make the team and we get a QB that is better than McWoman or TJ O'Dullison for somebody that was going to be cut.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Are you serious man?I guess it is a good trade since Mosely wouldn't make our team. I know he was forced into action last year when Pennington went down did anybody here watch how he did?
Mosley was going to be a solid back up d-lineman for us.
I think this is an idiotic trade.
Too big of a deal has been made of us getting a back up QB.
For God sake, can the Jets 4TH string QB really be that much better than Tarvaris?
I am very bummed that we traded Mosley but I agree with the other people that are
saying Mosley was not going to make the team, it was pretty much known that he was going to be cut.
I think we will regret it years down the road but at least we got something for nothing as he was going to be cut. What we've got here is failure to communicate.

I don't think "in a few years" really matters right now to Childress, especially with a guy like Mosley. I think when you weigh it all out, Mosley is worth the price of a dependable backup.I think that a few years down the road we will regret trading away Mosley but it didn't look like he was going to make the team and we get a QB that is better than McWoman or TJ O'Dullison for somebody that was going to be cut.

Re: Brooks Bollinger joins the Vikes (Merged Threads)
I said in another thread a few days back that both McMahon & O'Sullivan will be gone by next week.
No crow to eat here.

There is another thread discussing this topic that was started a half hour earlier than this one.
The two should be merged.
