well, according to VikesFan4Life and some others in the shoutbox, it was just announced over the radio on KFan that the vikings have traded C.J Mosely for Jet's QB Brook Bollinger

so much for having to worry (as much..) about our backups

This is ok in my book much better than O'Suckalot (not saying much) being that he played in the big 10 (Wisc) I had a chance to watch him enough to be ok with this trade plus Mosley was not really needed by us. Imo overall I am satisfied

With Pennington's status unclear heading into the season, the Jets acquired Patrick Ramsey from Washington and drafted Kellen Clemens in the second round out of Oregon. The three, along with Brooks Bollinger, were competing for the starting job.

Mangini said Pennington will not play in the preseason finale against Philadelphia on Friday night. That leaves Ramsey, Clemens and Bollinger fighting for the two backup spots.

Looks like Bollinger lost...

they didnt need bollinger and we didnt need mosely, seeing as we have spencer johson and kolodziej.

bollinger is an upgrade from O'Sullivan & McMahon, so im happy with the trade.

I personally think this is great news. Brooks honestly is not bad that of a QB. He will be a perfect fit at backup.

Good pick up, hes better suited to step in for us then McMahon.Looking at his stats last year, thier not THAT bad.7 TD's 6 INT's spanned over 9 games?I mean McMahon cant even stay above .500 with his TD/INT ratio.
