I guess it is a good trade since Mosely wouldn't make our team. I know he was forced into action last year when Pennington went down did anybody here watch how he did?

I doubt we keep 4 QB's so my guess would be that both McMahon and O'sullivan will be gone. Maybe i'm just hoping though!?!
Great, a 'Skani.
Oh well, hopefully he can manage a clipboard and here is to hoping he isn't needed

Mosley was going to be a solid back up d-lineman for us.
I think this is an idiotic trade.
Too big of a deal has been made of us getting a back up QB.
For God sake, can the Jets 4TH string QB really be that much better than Tarvaris?
WTF. WE TRADED MOSLEY??????
>:( >:( >:( >:( :o :o :o :o
C.J. whooped some a$$ in a couple of the games he played last year. There was no reason to get rid of him for a quarterback that we don't need and will never play.

Well 2 things
first: Mosley was beat out bye Kolodziej in training camp and so far in preseason.I agree that Mosley showed potential last year, but apprently not enough to stay on the team this year. Its a what have you done for me latley kinda league.
second:Bollinger may not seem to be better then Tarvaris, but to develope a rookie QB correctly, you have to let the rookie develope. They develope bye watching and practicing, T-Jack is still to young and still to raw to just throw in if B.J. gets hurt this season.Brooks isnt that bad, he did ok in the time he was given.Hes deff better then both O'Sullivan and McMahon.
I hate to see CJ leave but it will mean a lower round pick in the deal.
At least we got a QB that has a bit of playing experience...
What Mosely did last year means nothing everybody here knows that Ross K. and Spencer Johnson are set as our backups this year. Where did he come up with us giving up a pick though there's nothing about that in this report.
Vikings | Bollinger acquired
Thu, 31 Aug 2006 15:45:33 -0700
Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports the Minnesota Vikings have acquired QB Brooks Bollinger from the New York Jets in exchange for DL C.J. Mosley. The deal will be finalized once both players pass their physicals.
Wow. Presently, I don't know if I like this move, but only time will tell how it all works out.
Welcome Brooks.
