Brock Lesnar in the NFL?!

What in the hell? Brock Lesnar, of WWF and U of M wrestling fame is meeting up with scouts from the NFL this week and next. No position is being mentioned...but what in the world. I remember this keg carrying boy back from campus bar days....

I almost want to laugh, but this guy could throw lineman like ragdolls.

He has not touched a football since high school!!!! He only wrestled for the University of Minnesota and was a national champion! His experience will be questioned by many NFL teams but once he gets in his groove he should be bad ass. I think the Vikes should sign him to a contract of low value and work his ass. The big boy got in a motorcycle accident the other day, things are going real well for him right now.

They've been talking about this since he quit wrestling... he's huge thats for sure...but does he have any skill??

Lesnar is supposed to be a DT, that's the position that has been discussed since this first came out. I say might as well sign him, it'd be cheap. Whats the worst that could happen?

he needs to bulk up if he wants to play DT ... maybe a pass-rushing DE or LB? he's got the speed ...

Put him on the practice squad, see what he got. I dont think wasting a roster spot for him is woth it. IF he shoes he can do something then give him a shot.

He had talked to coach Glen Mason several times about interest in joining the team at the U. Obviously, nothing ever happened with that. So this isn't the first time since high school that he's considered playing football. But we all gotta remember, this is the NFL. He may be able to bench press a sh*t load, but things will be differerent for him than high school ball. I agree with hawaiianvike; throw him on the practice squad or invite him to the minicamp and see what happens. Hey, Craig Kilborn played with the Wolves last year for crying out loud!
