Sage on the other hand, has had this happen to him before.
Lets not forget, he was brought in before Schaub and at that point and time, he thought he was gonna be the sure starter.
To bad for him the staff had a opportunity to get another QB that they didn't think would be available.

Kindof like the current predicament he is in with the Vikes.
Young QB that might not be ready for prime time who needs to sit a spell, looked like a sure thing to be the starter.
Alas, LNAD is released by the Jets and becomes available.
Vikes opt for thier Schaub (LNAD) and now Sage is on the outs.

Anyway, call me a hater, but I hope I've answered Neds question as well as given you all kinds of stuff that explains why I think things like timing is important and none of it had anything to do with LNAD.
Sit a spell? You mean the past 7 years he's been sitting isn't long enough?

How long is a spell? 8, 10 yeras?

    Who are you talking about.

Take a closer look at my post.
I was talking about the staff ignoring the process of drafting and grooming a QB before running him out there.

You were talking about Sage in that paragraph. I assumed that was also who you were talking about that entire paragraph.

Naw, nothing gets me upset more that when I look back at that era of the Vikes and look at how they drafted, especially when it comes to the QB position.

Bring in the " Closer QB "
I suggested this back in 2005, It was scoffed at

I also suggested a tandem back RB team to alleviate the work load on one "workhorse" RB, back in 2005. Again It was laughed & scoffed at.

I wasn't here in 2005, however, if I would've been, I would have been leading the "Scoffing" bandwagon.
