The bright side

1. We play the 1-4 packers at home next week
2. The cheerleaders are still hot
3. There is so many distractions, its hard for people to even fit "Randy Moss" in to conversations about the vikes anymore
4. Our punting game is A++
5. At this rate we will have a very nice draft next year.
6 Tice will only "coach" 11 more games.
7. We get Birk back next year.
8. No more bye weeks for "celebrations"
9. Corey Chavous looks a little better than last year.
10. The packers suck more than we do.

There is no bright side, gol darnit the Vikings need to win a game! This team is ridiculous....biggest waste of talent in NFL history so far!

I hate to say it, but I am not sure we are signing Birk. I think Fowler is in the mix as a replacement for the future. I am not saying he is better, it is just a gut feeling. Why didn't the want to re-up his contract?

I want Birk back!

I'm pretty sure Birk will be back. They didn't "re-up" his contract because that has never been done before and didn't want to set a new presidence (sp?). I think its clear that Birk is needed, plus I don't beleive his contract is up for acouple years anyways. I don't blame the vikings for not taking him up on his offer, but it would have been nice.

I would rather have him healthy next year and fully healed than playing this season, then freshly operated on going through rehab and therapy then right into training camp.
