Brian Williams has become a better corner then Fred smoot

start williams the rest of the year unless he is injured. resign him (i know thats a long shot). let smoot and williams compete for the second corner position in camp next year . who is with me?

exactly.. my point is, williams is playing better than smoot.. yeah i know smoot isn't 100% yet and we havn't seen much of him, but williams looks so good to me, i wouldnt give it to smoot very quickly.

We need them both ... This is the NFL and injuries happen all the time. I remember in the very recent past the secondary being the weakest unit on the field for us. So, all it takes is one injury and both of these guys are on the field as starters. Just win baby ... don't care who is out there.

i think brian williams would be better at ss, mostly because he is an excellent tackler and blitzer, Unlike Corey Chavous. Corey is smart but lacks the physical skills to be a good ss. WIlliams however is one of our most talented players on defense. I think he is great at covering te's, which good ss's can do and is good in run support.

Williams is playing better then Smoot. But Smoot did have a little time off with the injury. He could be a bit rusty!

Not likely we would have to commit to start him as much as i like his play he will be gone next year.

I have been saying the same thing since last year...when will the Vikings finally listen to me! :evil:
