With our roster as deep as it is and the staff as good as they are, I think you will see the team unveil a new package that will allow them put their best available men on the field and we will some things that we have never seen before.

This is going to be fun.
I think we should try putting Hutch and Herrera at DT and Peterson at MLB.
Tell Hutch and Herrera to simply block for AP and he will break through untouched for the tackle in the backfield.
I was thinking cook. If anybody knows how to break an offensive blocking scheme it is him.

Combined with Williams wreaking crew loss and Letroy Guion being injured in practice last week it is looking bad for us.

    :'( :'( :'(
The tragedy/comedy that is the Vikings.
That will teach us for getting back in the race and starting to get fans hopes up again.
    Any temps coming in?

Re: Brian Robison gone with injury

This does hurt, but more in the lines of what we are doing on passing downs.
His play of late was to either play LDE (Ray shifted in) or to play DT (Ray at LDE) or to just spell Ray on passing downs.

We still need to figure out what we will look like in our base 4-3 when Wyms, Evans, and Guion are winded.

Pre-Suspension we looked like this (in our base 4-3)....

    LDE Ray Edwards Otis Grigsby

    LDT Kevin Williams
    Ellis Wyms
    Letroy Guion

    RDT Pat Williams
    Fred Evans

    RDE Jared Allen P
    Brian Robison

My guess is Post-Suspension we will look something like this.....

    LDE Ray Edwards Otis Grigsby

    LDT Ellis Wyms
    Leger Douzable

    RDT Fred Evans
    Martail Barnett
RDE Jared Allen P Otis Grigsby

    Letroy Guion (Out)
    Brian Robison (Out)

Martail Burnett - DE - Rookie - Utah
    Brian Daniels - G - 1st Year - Colorado
Leger Douzable - DT - Rookie - Central Florida
Jaymar Johnson - WR - Rookie - Jackson State
    Tim Mattran - C - Rookie - Stanford
Darius Reynaud - WR - Rookie - West Virginia
Marcus Walker - CB - Rookie - Oklahoma
Albert Young - RB - Rookie - Iowa

    Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!

I liked what I saw of Robison playing in the middle last week!
    Guion is hurt too?????
    D'oh!!

Perhaps some 3-4 with Dontarious in the middle too?
Somehow we're going to need to get Wyms and Evans some downs off.
I can only imagine we will be signing somebody off of a PS somewhere...

How difficult would it be to rotate to a 3-4? I mean, I don't know if the team can change defensive schemes and be ready for the game on Sunday...

I mean, if they can, it sounds like a pretty good idea.
    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

Can't say that I've seen it at all this year, but we saw the 3-4 several times last year.

I am thinking we go to the 2-5 defense.
