Re: Brett Favre tutoring Joe Webb
Can't see a few weeks with Farve doing a whole lot of good for Joe. It is not like Brett had the perfect mechanics as a pro QB. At least Joe is taking it seriously enough to put in the extra effort.
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

Re: Brett Favre tutoring Joe Webb
Would rather see him working with Ponder, our QB of the future.
Of course if Favre is already throwing footballs, it could mean he has one more comeback left in him. Just saying.

Re: Brett Favre tutoring Joe Webb
Only good can come from this. People like make jokes saying "What is Favre gonna teach him, ok joe on the last play of the game just heave it into triple coverage" but in reality Favre knows so much about defenses and the game as a whole, that Joe Webb can't help but benefit from it. Favre may not be the best mechanically, but he knows what a perfect throw should look like and he will help Joe with it.
I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

Re: Brett Favre tutoring Joe Webb
Can Joe Webb learn the offensive system inside and out?
Can he learn to read defenses well?
Can he throw accurately?
If you can answer yes to those three questions, Joe Webb could become an excellent NFL quarterback.
He has intelligence, speed, atheleticism second to none, and poise under pressure.
He also has a lot to learn.
I don't discount Joe Webb in this league where quarterbacks get injured often.
Sooner or later he will play again.“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Re: Brett Favre tutoring Joe Webb
We will never really be able to know if he will work out unless we give him 5 uninterrupted years starting so we can see what he has to offer.

Re: Brett Favre tutoring Joe Webb
There are a few of us trying to move on who ignore stuff about this shithead. 2 years of ruining a team is enough for me. I don't need to read anymore of it.

Just think. You will now have the opportunity to say the same thing about McChunky for the next few years. I wonder who the hell they will come up with after he is gone? Romo?

Jackson only had 1 uninterrupted year, not 5.
