I've had that type of injury on my ankle and it hurts like a mofo. No wonder he didn't run for those 5 yards. That hamstring is insane though. Hope this doesn't affect his decision on returning.
The irony, of course, is that the play called was a roll-out, which meant he had ran for about 10 yards before even throwing the ball.

Not bashing on him, it looks horribly painfull, but that sounds like a pretty weak excuse.
    Excuse?!

One just has to travel to a puker site to see all the excuses for Rodgers fumble.

If this was the case couldn't you put any bad performance on a bump and bruise? Any person that lets a player be forgiven on a bad performance due to injury should shut up because they could have easily stepped out. Not to mention this was a bruise,... this is what football is. Not a broken finger, a bruise.
Bad performance?! Whatever you say Puker fan.

That's way more than a bruise.

Obviously you've never injured a joint, bruising happens from more things than just broken blood vessels under the skin(like a punch in the arm could cause.)Ligaments bleed. Look at how swollen that is.

And the hamstring is obviously a serious pull. Look at how high up the bruising goes. Google image search "pulled hamstring" and compare.

Dr Jargo can back all of this up, assuming I am correct.

Don't hate because he's played his best season with us. Don't bother responding with "he won a ring with us though." I don't care.

I bet he had some severe upper body bruising also.

Looking at those pics I doubt he would have been able to play in the superbowl even if the Vikes won
and if he did manage would have been a lame duck
We are talking about Brett Favre here, there is now way he wouldnt of played in the superbowl. Perhaps he would of been a lame duck but we will never ever know that answer.

But we do know that he would of played.
From what I have heard he's not even putting weight on the ankle yet.

Aslo we have no idea what his upper body looks like

It's a stupid debate that will never be answered but as the other guy said those are much more than ordinary bruises and I doubt he would have played.

I thought Sharper broke his jaw with helmet to helmet too. Favre's a tough dude.

That's amazing, definetly one tough SOB.

I've said it before. One of the gutsiest performances I've ever seen.
