The irony is that if you asked TJack, I bet he would want Favre back too.

LOL. TJack and Sage are both awesome at keeping the bench warm for Favre.

I doubt it. If you keep up with T-Jack's blogs as I do, T-Jack wanted Favre to win the Super Bowl this year so he could take over and repeat next year. Unfortunately Favre messed up his part of the plan but Jackson will still hold up his end of the bargain next season if given the opportunity.

Ok, Iíve been lurking for a while on here and now finally feel compelled to post.

I first started following the Vikings in 2007, with the arrival of the NFL here in England I wanted a team to follow and the first game I properly sat through and watched was ADís record setting game against the Chargers, there was only going to be one team for me after that. So 2007 was the season in which I chose my team to follow, just a team to be happy for when they score a touchdown and nothing more. It was during the 2008 season that I began to realize that this team was more than just a team to follow, and gradually began to really appreciate the level of ability of some of our boys. It hadnít taken long but I was now hooked, every Sunday was spent trawling through the internet trying to find streams to watch the Vikings on (we werenít exactly popular with Sky Sports TV over here).

The 2009 season was different, not just compared to the last two seasons, nope it was more than that. I am a season ticket holder at White Hart Lane, which is the stadium of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, Iíve followed Spurs since I was 5 years old but no Spurs team has ever drawn me in emotionally quite like the 2009 Vikings side. The team is full of charisma, full of likeable guys, exciting players, dramatic moments and no-one epitomized this more than Brett Favre. Brett was immense for us this year, he made us a team that even my mum fell in love with a woman that has never shown any kind of interest in any American sport before. Heís that kind of person, the players wanted to play for him, they wanted to win for him, heís infectious.

I loved the ride this year, in October I came over to see the Packers game and that experience will stay with me until the day I die, some of you may call the NFL the no fun league but you try watching Tottenham vs Fulham on a freezing Tuesday evening (yes thatís what I have ahead of me tonight) and then tell me what fun is. Although Iíve been in a worse mood than any sporting occasion has ever put me in for the last two days I wouldnít have had Manning, Brees, Brady or Rivers over Favre this year because it just wouldnít have been as fun.

Bring on 2010, next year is THE year sorry if I waffled on.
No, you did not "waffle on". That was a very good first post. Welcome to the site, post often and have fun. I love hearing from fans overseas. It makes my world more rich.
Please don't let that be your last post noob. We need more overseas members to add some variety. Welcome and SKOL!
