I think that Koren would possibly compliment our recieving corps considering that it is not THAT strong. I look at our recievers right now and I see one stand out, 2 mediocres, and 2 with tons of potential. Adding Robinson would be adding a mediocre with tons of potential. I just don't know though... Where would that put Troy on the depth chart?

The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Tice was scheduled to meet with free agent WR Koren Robinson (Seahawks) Sunday, Sept. 5. Robinson is close friends with Vikings CB Brian Williams, his teammate at N.C. State. "He's a good football player," Tice said. "He's going through some life challenges. I'm going to spend some time myself with him. Williams indicated to me that I should make contact, and I did. So we brought him in for a visit. So we'll just see how it goes." Robinson, who checked himself into a 28-day alcohol treatment program in South Carolina, last month, will have his hearing Sept. 14 in Kirkland Municipal Court. It would seem unlikely that any team would sign him before then. "We'll just see how it goes," Tice said. "There's nothing pending. There's nothing imminent. We just wanted to touch base and visit."

I totally agree with that as well.. I think T-tay and Burley are the only good ones right now really.. M-rob can only really jump and gets open on only curl routes really.. and Williamson is still a rookie and is gonna be used just to open the field.. Koren would definiley give us a WR who can run great routes and make an impact..

As for it putting Williamson down on the depth chart I think it would be fine.. He should pretty much only come in to go deep I think anyway.. He can wait a year anyway if we get Koren.. I see it like this

Tice is backpeddling on the Moss trade, grasping at anything he can get. I'm starting to REALLY not like Tice.

2002-1240 yards, 5td

2003-896 yards, 4td

2004-495 yards, 2td

If Koren could work out his off feild issues, and get back to his 2002 pro-bowl form im all for him coming to the vikings. He could add some major depth into the WR corps. M-rob is a good jump ball man and Williamson is still a rookie. Koren is a complete WR or.....at least was. In the ideal situation he could turn out to be one of the best aqcuisitions of the off-season.

Koren Robinson....where did he play before? What made him such a bad guy? I'm not familiar with him.

Played with the seahawks before. Was very highly touted coming out of NC state and was taken in the first round if i'm not mistaken. He got into legal trouble early in his career and had a problem catching easy passes. Had very large potential but never fulfilled it.
