Here in Chicago, there were a number of hacks on the radio and in print, along with callers on sports talk that thought picking up Donovan would be a good move for the Bears after the Vikings let him go. I don't know if any of them watched him play the past 2 yrs. Every time a washed up big name player is cut there will be a contingent who believes he can still bring back the old magic and help their team.

Braylon was cut by a team already thin at wide receiver heading into the playoffs. It should tell you something.
I hear ya my friend, but you now me. I have my little soapboxes and these things are one of them. Mix in a slow site and a chance to poke one of the new guys, and I couldn't resist.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

I may go since I found out I have Sunday off (normally work Sundays, which is why I hadn't gone to many games this year).

Just depends on our New Years plans.

I have no desire to bring Braylon in here anymore after this season. I was kind of intrigued coming into the season, but he just would not add much.

I personally am starting to fall big time on the draft Justin Blackmon bandwagon unless we get lucky and land a stud in free agency.

And Percy Harvin is a star receiver. I am also very happy with Jenkins as a No. 3. So Blackmon or a stud receiver would be much nicer to add over a broken down Braylon Edwards who never cared to live up to his immense talent level.

So apparently if you were a GM you would never watch the waiver wire because with that mentality you think when someone is gotten rid of that means they aren't a fit anywhere.....interesting.

So you would always take a washed up, no talent left, has been and add him to our roster because another team let him go?
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.
