Interesting Vike_King...actually wondering why you even posted your reply. You must have something to add.

I don't think McMahon gets enough credit. His offense was decimated by injuries and the T.O. tebacle last year. I think if Brad goes down and he is forced to start he will do better than people anticipate.

You may not like McMahon, but I say he's the future, at least for the next few years.
 Thanx for ruining my season before it even starts.

This is where the 6-10 season the analysts were talking about come in to play.

I agree... He is dedcent as a backup, as long as he doesn't have to play.. He does make a mean cup of coffee though..
The only time that Mike McMahon and future come together is when the sentence states.

Mike McMahon is not the future of the Minnesota Vikings
If he is the future, then we have a very dark future ahead of us.

And I think this article falls under the "Uhh...duh!" section of the newspaper.

How about a 44.5% pass completion percentage & 21 interceptions out of 515 attempts, which means 4.1% of his total passes are picked off for interceptions or of the non-completed passes 7.3% are picked off for interceptions.

Why do we have them as back-ups? That's the 64 million dollar question.

Last year, the same line McNabb had.

    2005 McNabb: 59.1%, 7.0 Y/A

    2005 McMahon: 45.4%, 5.6 Y/A

    2005 Johnson: 62.6%, 6.4 Y/A

ok.. his rating, yards, and rating may be below league average..

but he hasnt even played two full season worth of games..

he's only played 29 games... and played for the lions and philly.. give him a chance. he hasnt been able to prove himself

Of course he hasn't played full seasons!

What part of back-up QB don't you understand?

I think his point was that it is hard to judge him because he hasn't played many games.
