What game was that when we allowed the other team to score like 31 points in 2 minutes?
I always felt the same way.
If we didn't turn the ball over, our defense choked and let the opposing team plow right down the field for some quick scores.
I hope this is a thing of the past.
I have a feeling it is.

Re: Brad Johnson: Just Passing Through

The Daunte trade is to be determined, but I am happy that we stuck we Johnson instead of adding some old questionable starter, like Kerry Collins, or Jeff Garcia. Also, I'm glad we stuck we Johnson instead of getting a young questionable starter, like Drew Brees, Matt Leinart, of Vince Young.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in love with Tavaris, but I would still prefer Jay Cutler. It has nothing to do with talent level or potential. I was praying on draft say that Cutler fell to us, and I was begginf us to trade up and get him. It would have been pretty cool for the guy who led my college team to work his way through the purple ranks and lead my pro team as well. Same reason I was sad to see Chavous go. Oh well.

Re: Brad Johnson: Just Passing Through

Former Vikings owner Red McCombs, who sold the franchise to Wilf last year, said in a telephone interview last week that the team should not have traded Culpepper.

"I think they made a terrible mistake letting Daunte go and getting almost nothing for him," McCombs said.
This is from the guy that traded Randy Moss away for almost nothing??
Gawd will this guy ever go away?
Why does anyone ask him what he thinks about anything?

Redneck McCombs had no football credibility before he bought the team, while he was an owner, nor now.
I am also wondering why anybody would care what he thinks.
He must be illiterate too, Daunte didn't want to be here.

Brad is just a class act. He's a smart player that gets it done. Not only would I rely on him in a game, but he's a guy you can rely on away from the game, which is something this team sorely needs.

And after owning the Vikings for those years & trading Moss away he lost the ort of football credibility he had.

He did make one good football related move.....................He sold the team.
