Brad Johnson -- Future Hall of Famer?

I love Brad, like a brother but HOF!!? NO!! He has had a pretty good career but nothing that really stands out. Yeah he has a Super Bowl ring, which is good, but the rest of the career is pretty quiet. Maybe if he wins a few more Super Bowlsm that might help him.

Yeah, I agree with most in that he wont get in on merit as of now.

If he were to get the Vikes to the dance and win this year, he might get looked at.
It's hard not to acknowledge two SB wins with two different teams but even then he has had a very vanilla career.

I don't think that Brad Johnson is a shoe in for the HOF, but I think he deserves to be considered for it.. The guy has one of the best completion percentages in NFL history.. He has alot less INT's then he does TD's.. He has also already won a SB.. Like I said, he shouldn't be a shoe in, but he should be considered..

the only way he'll get look at if he plays not only this year but probably next year behind the helm of the vikings, doing well in the playoffs each time.

i dont see him getting mentioned however.. he's a phenomonal player and leader, but it ends there

very unlikely to happen, but if he won a second s.b. with a second team he would HAVE to go in.

Yeah. He should be on a ballot, but not yet a HOFer IMHO.

A second sb would help. But I really don't know. He hasn't put up the numbers and the HOF is about numbers most of the time, unfortunately for some people.

As of today I don't think he'd even get considered. But as has been mentioned, if he took the Purple to a Superbowl and won, he'd definitely get considered. Or if he even took the Vikings deep into the playoffs for at least the next two years itg could put him on a ballot. That's if he were instrumental in the wins. One of the biggest accomplishments of his, for me, is that he has been successful on every team he has gone to. And so far, twice with the Vikings.
