This is my first post on here. Been a Viking fan since Bud Grant left my team to join the Vikings. When Brad left I went with him. The Vikings should never have let him go. Then the star stuck Danny pushed him out and I went to Tampa Bay with him. It has nicer weather. Well I'm back where I belong in Minneapolis now.
I had Brad pegged as a winner from the beginning. A lot of people forget that he started that rise to the top of the Vikes only to crash and burn in the Conference Final. With no Brad on the field. Whose only bad show all season was getting hurt.
He's one of the smartest field generals I've ever seen. He reminds me a lot of one of my heroes of old, Kenny Pleon the QB for the Blue Bombers up north. He played with and under Grant. The youngest coach in all football, I think. Brad reminds me a bit of Grant also. They are all great football minds with talent and the burning desire to win. I've been over half the map defending Johnson on other boards. He always had some good fans in those other cities, but it seemed like at least half of them wanted somebody else....flashy.
If Johnson plays to his usual standard and there are no disasterous injuries and the rest of the team is a good as they seem to me, then this could be a great year.
How's Jeff George doing?
