Because of that I officially cast my vote for Zimmer...
Let me ask you a question; how has that 4-3 been working out the past few years ?

I prefer Zimmer, but this team will be fortunate to get Bowles. I think either one will move the team forward in short order.

Bowles hire sets team back a year

Zimmer or Roman will get tha job and i think we will stay a 4-3 defense and throw that Tampa 2 out of tha window and i might hire Roman San Fran offense is sum wat like ours and im sure he can find a QB

Robison is not a 3-4 player... bad signing if we go to a 3-4... now if we signed Ev Griff instead and draft Anthony Barr at 8, then it makes sense...

But Robison is just a terrible fit in a 3-4... just TERRIBLE!

I disagree, I think Robison has the Size & speed to make it for a OLB, same thing with Griffen, the only thing really needed would be a beast of a NT, and then concentrate on the secondary.

Brian Robison and Everson Griffen, right size for 3-4 OLB? It would appear to be so. Point is only that any new coach could probably find a place for these guys, regardless of 3-4 or 4-3. Assuming, of course, Griffen continues as a Vike.

    Robison: 6'3" 259lbs
    Griffen: 6'3" 273lbs

    By Comparison:
    A couple of greats:
    Kevin Greene: 6'3" 255lbs
    James Harrison: 6'0" 275lbs

    Current 3-4 OLBs…
    AZ - Sam Acho: 6'3" 257lbs
    AZ - John Abraham: 6'4" 263lbs
    Pitt - Lamarr Woodley: 6'2" 265lbs
    Pitt - Jason Worilds: 6'2" 262lbs
    Pitt - Jarvis Jones: 6'2" 245lbs
    NO - Junior Galette: 6'2" 258lbs
    NO - Keyunta Dawson: 6'3" 258lbs

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

How about this name.. Chris Doleman- 6'5" 289 !!!!

Yes I know Max, most would think that they would be giants out there on the edge, but the numbers prove that they would make a good fit..the smaller'ish Lb's are going to be on the inside. Most need to think of our 4-3 DE's as stand up DE's in a 3-4..both Robison & Griff have the speed. The DT's will still be "down" lineman, just move a little bit to the outside of where they were playing..I see it very possible. BTW MAx, I got your FF payment, THX!!
