I like him right back! lol.

It is no secret I'm a Manziel fan, but I also know Turner has been high on Bortles since before I knew who Bortles WAS. If Turner and co are sold on him, I am prepared to buy into the decision whole-
    heartedly.

Hell, even Bridgewater looks GREAT to me on some days. No matter what happens, I'm sold on the fact that our guys know what they are doing.

It's a no brainer people. Draft Bortles and build the defense through the draft.

    A "no brainer."

You are obviously kidding, because, a 50% (at best) drafting success rate…across the NFL, is far from a no brainer.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

    lol.

A lot of people are just tired of not having a QB to put their hopes in, and I personally don't blame them.

Just remember, though... its a #8 pick, not a #1. We (and many other teams) have screwed the pooch on 1st round picks, it isn't the end of the world. I just don't want to see a caught in the draft episode where we passed on a stud due to having our panties in a bunch. If Zimmer and Turner are sold on a QB, GET HIM.

Whatever guy. We need a QB for the future here and it's time for Spielman to get it right. this time. Who would you like us to select at #8?

50% including rounds after the first? I would say that the first round has a better than 50% success rate on a regular basis. And damn near every Pro Bowler comes from round 1 through 3.

I would not call Bortles a no-brainer ... but I am very much in the camp that I want the QB position addressed EARLY in this draft ... by Pick No. 40. It is a NO BRAINER that we do not have a QB and we need one.

Don't let posts get you irritated, we all come here to discuss, agree and disagree about the Vikings. Disagree seems to be the way it usually goes, but that doesn't make your opinion anymore or less valid.

I try to differentiate between what I think I "know" versus what is my "opinion"; it seems to make people relax, even though at times it feels obvious that we are all spouting opinions more than anything else.

But remember, you WILL be challenged here. If you make an assertion, expect people to want you to back it up. Just don't take it personally.

And to answer your question, I want Clowney, Mack, Watkins, or Manziel in that order, or we trade back for more picks.

50% is pretty close to accurate for first round picks, granted it's much less after the first.

If you scroll down to about the 4th page he puts all the 49 QB's drafted in the first round since 2001. 19 are good, 4 undecided, 3 mediocre, and 24 are ugly

Well the time is near..............I'm an Aggie fan, Daughters going to school there......Johnny we will pass. I wish Blake would be our pick, but I think a DB or LB is our uneventful #1 pick
