Book: "To be a Viking" coming soon

Charley Walters at www.pioneerpress.com has noted that

Former Vikings linebacker Matt Blair is working on a book, "To be a Viking," a recollection by him and teammates of their playing days in Minnesota.

I cannot wait till this comes out I think it will be a great read.

Matt Blair was awesome, he was probably before your time so you may not recall him. In fact he may be among the best 2 or 3 linebackers to ever play for the Vikings.

We'll mark that comment down to reasons of youth :grin: Matt Blair was a great player and could show some of the LBs today how to play the game. He played for 11 years and hold the record for the number of punt/FG blocks.

I'll look forward to that book coming out for sure
