Bollinger hasn't given up his goal to be the No. 1 QB

I searched and didnt see this anywhere which is surprising but I found it even more surprising that this article says that the players think they have a better chance with Bollinger than TJ

I have been working a lot this week, and this heat is making me dizzy at the same time.

I know it's not much for an excuse.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Blah blah ... that is just Sid being Sid and trying to stir something up. He does not quote any of the anonymous players because none of them really think they are going far with Bollinger at QB. I don't hate Brooks or anything, but we have to throw T-Jack into the fire and see what we have. Bollinger could be the QB of the moment if TJ sucks ... but if T-Jack is not playoff material ... we need someone else, because Bollinger for damn sure is not NFL playoff material.

If there is ever a backup QB on the roster that doesn't have a goal of becoming a starter someday....cut off their legs and feed them to the wolves.

I've said it before and I'll make the prediction again -- Bollinger will be our starting QB the first REGULAR game of the season. Jackson will start most of the PRESEASON games.

well it should be an intersting battle during the preseason to watch. Bollinger may get the job he may not now we just get to still sit on our hand and wait til the preseason starts. ho-hum I guess maybe I should have found someother hobby to get into while witng for the season to show up.

I'm all for Bollinger starting this season.
If I recall correctly, the original thoughts on TJack were that he was going to take AT LEAST a couple of years to develop.
Granted Brooks isn't probably the best QB to learn from, but he did look pretty good for two drives last season!

Also, if TJack sits another year, my #07 jersey will hold some value longer incase he chokes big time.

I still think that Brooks will start the season as number 1.
Childress will put the QB on the field that he feels gives the Vikings the best chance of winning.
Brooks actually looked decent in his very limited playing time with the Vikes (minus the overabundant sacks) and has apparently looked good in mini camps too.

I don't care who starts, as long as whoever it is increases our chance of winning.
I still think TJ is the future of the Vikes, but I have no problem sitting him until he is ready.
