When asked about the latest rumor that former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre might come out of retirement to join the Minnesota Vikings, Brooks Bollinger just shook his head and laughed...

Re: Bollinger continues to battle for QB spot
they must be giving him false hopes or something..theres no way theyl cut booty or even try the practice roster thing with him after what happened last year, and theres no way brooks is any better than gus, so the writing is on the wall for him unfortunately

Re: Bollinger continues to battle for QB spot
I agree Olson, when I saw this article, I didn't think he had a chance either, it would nice to see him succeed and land a job somewhere else, but there is no place on this team for him right now, barring injuries (knock on wood)

Re: Bollinger continues to battle for QB spot
yah hes a guy from the area, and has said all the right things, so nobody can say they personally dislike the guy, but unfortunately for him, theres just no chance he plays for the vikings next year

Re: Bollinger continues to battle for QB spot
There still is the possibility of someone getting injured, so he has to play good enough to convince the team that he can take a roster spot, instead of signing someone else..

Re: Bollinger continues to battle for QB spot
Bollinger trying to win a spot on the team this year is like a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest.

Re: Bollinger continues to battle for QB spot
I read something on SI where they said we likely would carry 4 Qb's.
I seriously doubt that. I think we should cut bollinger.. makes it harder for him to find a spot somewhereRosie O'Donnell is a dude!
