Re: Is this the Blueprint to stop Ad?

Like Steve Young was saying after the game: every QB dreams of 1 Safety coverage.
The solution is to get someone in there next year who was actually a passer in college... not TJ.
TJ was an above average QB in a Division IAA league...
    this is the NFL.
With Adrian running as well as he is, I think any QB with an IQ greater than the number on his jersey and a pulse could "manage the game".

Bring in someone who can throw the ball and pick apart defenses like Colt Brennan, Matt Ryan, or Brian Brohm.
If they keep bringing 8, you pass the ball.
TJ's play at his best tonight was nothing more than questionable and when hit his lows, you were wondering if he thought he was playing a game of 500...
Maybe someone should get him into a Nike vision training center...

Draft a QB right now?, and start over with the same rookie mistakes for 2 maybe 3 years that T Jack is doing right now?, In case you missed it Matt Ryan slowed down by the end of the season, Brian Brohm is said to be a system QB and is getting compared to Tim Couch by scouts and the defensens Colt Brennan has faced are the defenses of the worst teams in the league.

Jackson has showed that he is capable of beating teams, with Adrian and or Chester running the ball - He finds away to win, albeit he makes stupid mistakes, thats expected for a QB who has just started his 12th game. Its not like Jay Cutler, Matt Leinert and Vince Young plays lights out either. Leinert got benched, Denver blows and everyone is saying thet Young has got to improve.

If we are going to bring in someone it better be a guy with experience who has shown he can win in this league, not a new rookie QB.

8 in the box the blueprint to stop AD???

nah.. i think AD was taking it easy on them. we beat SF with out AD basically. And we beat the bears w/o major AD contribution on the ground, he just pounded the ball in the red zone.

but seriously... 8 in the box has been put on us a lot this year. we just didnt execute out TWO (i say this again... TWO) back system. CT didnt get as nearly many reps as he needed for our running game to be in full swing. that's what makes the running game so potent, its that we can speed on 1st and 2nd with AD, and pound with taylor on 3rd. CT is amazing on the DRAW!! OMG!!! He took ten yards on a thirds and 11 draw.

the only way to stop AD is to not do the correct game plan. AD and CT feed off of eachother IMO. we just didnt use them affectively today. we will need to do it better next year.
    They split carries just fine.
Remember, they were working AD back into the swing.
The better he healed, the more carries.
Seems they are back to pre-injury splits.
Remember, CT to relieve AD and get carries.
Otherwise, AD wouldn't be as effective 4th Quarter.
Again, the recurring theme is AD's more yards is in the 4th, and it happened again.

3rd and 11, and CT gets 10 on the draw...
    that's called 4th and 1... punt.

Not much of a blue print is required. AD can't pass block well so when he's in there there's a high pecentage it will be a run or pass to AD. The "D" just focuses on AD.

Our pass plays happen most of the time when C_Tay is in there, because he can pass block. Thus the "D" doesn't know if it will be a run or a pass.

I guarantee you when they get into the league, they won't be as great as you're imagining. you're just name dropping now. Bookmark this page and come back to it in a year. we'll see how they've done.

I'd like for Tarvaris to improve his touch and reads.
I'd also like for Adrian to improve on his pass blocking.
Play action passes would be a godsend if both of these were to happen.
8 in the box, along 1 or 2 more secondary players biting on the fake.
Rice would actually get opportunities over the top and Shiancoe + Wade would get some looks over the open middle.

The way I look at it, how is he going to LEARN to pass block if you don't have him in there?
