Is this the Blueprint to stop Ad?

I believe now that if teams want to come out in that Cover 3 D, 1 Safety , T jack will learn to destruy that D. I jus cant believe they pkayed it most of the game and we didnt force them out of it. But we won and I hope TJ is focusing more on defeating these shemes that is definetly gone be coming our way.

Who needs a blue print?? I"m not Football genius folks but I can sit there watching on the Plasma and tell you when it's going to be a run to AD or CTay. So What do you think the defense that gets paid to stop them sees??

Let's quit on the Tandom running....changing runners so often and start mixing up what we do with these guys when they are in more often. Nobody is guessing what's coming. They already know.

    Cheers!

I don't think it's so much a blue- print to stoping AD.
It's going to stop anyone. Blitz constantly, and play the pass on the way to the run.
I think it's important that we go out and get a great WR in the FA market. We need someone that will prevent
these 8 man fronts. I know everyone hates him but Randy could do well to shut that down. All we would have to do is keep him happy. A constant S double team keeps the other safety in line.

Teams will just cram eight in the box.
TJack has to make the opponents pay with play action passes.
When teams are getting this aggressive, they should run some WR screens to Rice, halfback/fullback screens to our backs and timing routes.
Pounding an eight man front wont work against playoff teams.

exactly what was the blueprint? To allow two touchdowns and about 4 yards a carry? That is hardly stopping. Sure it is not the 224 he dropped on them the first time ... but 78 yards and 2 TDs on 20 carries is still a VERY productive day. Add in 17 yards on the catch and he had an even better day.
We have been spoiled simply. I mean ... 78 yards a game would come out to 1,248 a year ... which is a VERY good year. So, I am not ready to say that 20 carries, 78 yards and TWO TDs is "stopping" All Day.

    Their D played really well.
Just like Willis last week, Urlacher was fired up today.
Chicago played well- Washington will be similar...then we'll light up Denver.

I think you make a good point Kevoncox....but we can do a lot of damage with Peterson as a reciever and it's hardly ever (Not Enough) tried by the O-coordinator. What Linebackers in this League can cover AD on a 10 yard pass route and then make the play after the catch?? AD just needs to get the ball in his hands and get a step in the flat or 5-10 yards down field and he's gonna get some serious yards. Same is true for Taylor. We can't continue to run these guys into the defensive stone walls up front and expect to get Lucky.

We just seemed so very predictable in all of our play calls and I guarantee the Redskins will kick our jiggly butts if we try that next Sunday Night. If I am the Saints I have to feel very confident that the Vikings will stumble and loose a game after what I witnessed tonight. If you think tonight was a hard faught game (It Was..even if Ugly) Washington is playing for it's own Playoff life next week.

    Cheers!

True..I hope that tonight was a wake up call.
Their D played very well, so we have to wake up next week b/c Wash. is playing some good ball right now.

Agreed. I have always fel we should be doing more tosses, screens wheels
passes with him. The defense cannot blitz the middle
    if you do that.
This will keep them honest in when we are trying to run. However, with a WR like
Randy, AP will be allowed to be himself and TJack will be even better. Right now defenses are just doing to bring the blitz on almost everyplay AP is in and that is hurting our passing game.
